Strengthening your faith through lockdown

” But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:” (1Peter 2:9)

Christianity is a personal relationship with God, through a Daily faithwalk with Christ. During this season of lockdown, work on building your relationship with God.

For too long now, the focus has been on the church building.

God in His infinite mercy is restoring all things to His original intent, that you be His representative in this world.

His Word says, “… I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” (See Matthew 16:18-19)

The myth that has been built around church buildings have been destroyed. God is pointing to you now, gkthat you, and not the building is the church.

Indeed,  God is building you up as His church,  and the gates of hell  shall not prevail against you.

As you spend time communing with God during this season, your faith will grow and fear will go.

Do not feel bereft of meeting with others. Let the church (you and your household), meet together in your home. That way, you won’t forsake the assembling of yourselves. (See Hebrews 10:25)

Be the ‘choosen generation, royalpriest, holy nation and the peculiar’ people whose lifestyle will glorify God. So that those who are still in darkness will see the light of God’s glory in you, and come to God through you. (See 1Peter 2:9). Fulfil destiny.

Thank God for your deliverance from idolatry: the yoke of worshipping religious leaders and observing religious rituals have been destroyed.

You have been set free to go worship God in spirit and in truth.

Cut down on TV, strengthen your relationship with God.Β  Pray, intercede for others, do not forget to share with those who have needs.

Remember how the widow who had food that was just enough to eat and await death; she had more than enough after sharing with God’s servant, Elijah (See 1kings 17:7-16)

If you went into lockdown without enough food, do not worry: give thanks for what you have. Feel free to share with anyone who has need.

Your prayer of thanksgiving sanctifies and releases the multiplier effects on your sustenance. (See Matthew 14:13-21)

Until the end of these trying times, you will always have superabundance in all good things, in Christ holy name.
