An Artisan is a person skilled in an applied art; a craftsperson: a person or company that makes a high-quality or distinctive product in small quantities, usually by hand or using traditional methods (Dictionary.com)
This morning, as I started out on my daily Bible reading, I was led to pray for Artisans. The Word of God came to me saying:
“Look, I have specifically chosen… I have filled him with the Spirit of God, giving him great wisdom, ability, and expertise in all kinds of crafts. 4 He is a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver, and bronze. 5 He is skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones and in carving wood. He is a master at every craft! 6 “And I have personally appointed… to be his assistant…I have given special skill to all the gifted craftsmen” (Exodus 31:2-6; NLT)
Let us intercede for Artisans:
- ABBA FATHER, thank you for being such a loving and caring God who takes interest in all His creation.
- We thank You for giving gifts to all humans and also that these gifts and callings are irrevocable
- In accordance with your will, we present to you Artisans: those persons and companies which make high quality and distinctive products.
- We know that you take delight in the prosperity of your people, so we ask that you grant them more enabling grace with which to function excellently in their vocation.
- Knowing that “To subvert a man in his cause, the LORD approves not.” (Lamentations 3:36; AKJV), we rebuke the forces of evil that are trying to destabilize, unsettle, overthrow, overturn, damage, destroy, pervert, corrupt, undermine, bring down, topple, depose, oust; disrupt, wreak havoc on, sabotage, ruin, weaken, damage, deprave, contaminate, poison, embitter and frustrate Artisans from functioning excellently in their vocation/profession; to get off their case and let them be.
- I loose favor and advancement in your labor that your heart might be content
- I ask that the specific grace for your trade manifest in you right now to generate surplus.
- I ask that you be filled with the Spirit of God so that you will receive great wisdom, insight, concept, ability, ideas and expertise in all kinds of crafts.
- I affirm that the fire of attraction and the spirit of acceptance are released upon you now.
- I pray that you become a master craftsman, expert in working with gold, silver and bronze.
- That you also become skilled in engraving and mounting gemstones; in carving wood; in manufacturing, decorating and producing textiles and other special products and edibles.
- I ask that the Excellency of God’s Indwelling Spirit make you a master at every craft!
- I ask also for the enabling grace with which to pass on your knowledge to others.
- I pray that God personally appoint your assistants: and give them special skills to become gifted craftsperson so that they too can make all things as well.
- I pray that your gifts open doors for you and break down barriers of poverty, hardship and mediocrity.
- I pray also that your gift become a vehicle for personal evangelism through which you will display the glory of God and attract others to God’s Kingdom of Light, in Christ matchless name.
- Thank You Holy Spirit for leading and directing us in this prayer. We know that you will confirm our Words and perform our counsel to God’s glory and praise, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amein. – Hephzibah Christly
