Because humans are curious to know the future, they dabble into occultism by going to ‘star-gazers'(astrology), divination(palm, tea leaves and card reading). They seek spiritual information from ‘spiritists’ and persons with ‘mediumistic abilities’ – all of which GOD’s WORD calls “abomination”.
The CHRISTian “walks by faith and not by sight”. You may not know what the future holds, no need to fear or worry because you know the ONE who holds the future.
GOD gives information on a need to know basis. He called out Abram from his comfort zone to a place HE will show him. Like Abraham, when you follow GOD, you do it without knowing where HE is taking you, but knowing that HE who is taking you through life’s journeys knows the best path, watches over you and will give you good success.
Be confident of this: “He who began a good work in you will carry it to completion” ~ Phil 1:6,NIV.
“…they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest’s office. And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen.” Exodus 28:4-5
As a young minister, I wanted to appear professional, so I made up my mind to have black clothes in my wardrobe for all ministerial engagements. However, I had a personal encounter with God that perished the thought.
When I graduated from Bible College I got a beautiful black dress with a royal blue hat and shawl to wear for the thanksgiving service the next day.
That night as I slept, I heard the sound of Christ weeping. In that dream, when I asked why He was crying, He said to me, ‘of everything I did for you that you never appreciated I could bear. But your rejection after I have honored you with a call to ministry, hurts.’
You can imagine my consternation! Why would He say such a thing to me?
I was happy that finally, I had my ministerial credentials. I have invited family and friends to come celebrate and thank God with me for reaching that milestone. I was not rejecting Him. I was shocked to hear Him say such unkind words to me.
I was sad and felt God was being unfair to me. I asked Him why He said such unkind words to me seeing that I was happy and zealous for the work.
So He pointed to my beautiful black dress that I was so proud of, and asked if the dress pointed to happiness. He explained that on the contrary, the black dress pointed to sadness -mourning.
I was flabbergasted! I never saw that coming. It never entered my tunnel vision that God was particular about colors. Furthermore, He asked me whether black was among the priestly colors.
In addition, He pointed me to the scripture I shared as opening verse-Exodus twenty eight. He explained that black was the symbol of the Kingdom of darkness. Since I was not a satanic priest, or magician, I should not look like one.
He also said I should carefully observe those who have made black their official ministry-wardrobe, and consider it a manifestation of their ministry’s bent.
People of God, that encounter changed my outlook towards colors, especially for ministry. From that time till now, I outlawed the color black from our ministry-wardrobe. Even our choirs are only allowed navy blue as their favorite dark color.
This personal lesson from God came back to me today, when I saw a post that needed my approval in one of our numerous groups. Both ministers were dressed in black flowing robes, reminiscent of magicians. I kept staring at their post because something was off.
Outwardly, it was a good post , but I had a check in my Spirit and could not approve it. It was when the Holy Spirit reminded me of the just shared encounter, that I understood the restraint.

“He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” (Matthew 8:17; KJV)
Sickness is incipient death. The goal of sickness is to kill the sick person. Sicknesses came into the world through the disobedience of the first Adam when he chose to believe the treacherous lies of satan the devil.
The mission of satan is to steal, kill and destroy human lives. Because he hates humanity passionately. (See John 10:10)
However, by the obedience of Jesus Christ, God opened a new and living way out of this death destined world. For whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (see John 3:16; 10:10; 14:6)
Jesus Christ, the second and last Adam was made a life giving Spirit and He came to destroy the works of the devil. (1Corinthians 15:45; 1John 3:8)
If according to our opening scripture, Christ already ‘took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses’, why should we accept or accommodate sicknesses, etc in our lives?
It is sad to see how several Christians are so accepting of the bad reports from their doctors. Yet, they can’t wrap their minds round the truth of God’s Word that they don’t have to be sick: and even if they fall ill, healing is their right in Christ.
Let’s be real here. Sickness is like a weight placed upon the head as consequences; and which affects every aspect of the body and personality.
When you are in such a helpless and hopeless condition, you pray for a superior Being to come to your rescue. When He comes, He nit only takes away the weight, He also gives you the authority over your oppressor, and the right to walk tall.
The taking away of the weight gives you freedom, and you won’t still have the weight! Don’t you get it? You can’t have what no longer exists to you! Christ has taken away your sicknesses. It is no longer yours! Hallelujah
However, if you accept sicknesses, their symptoms and doctors reports, you are refusing to let the weight go. You accept sicknesses when you do not cast down the symptoms in your mind, and keep meditating on it, instead of meditating on God’s Word.
Refuse to dwell on, or mull over negatives. Fill your mind with what God’s Word says about you.
The Bible talks about a woman who the spirit of infirmity had bound over for 18 years. She could not straighten up at all. However, when Christ set her free, that was it for her. She could walk tall. She was no longer walking as a sick and twisted person. (See Luke 13:10-17)
You have to behave what you believe. Refuse to accept the symptoms or doctors report.
Scientists posits they descended from monkeys. You were taught that in school and perhaps may have believed it at that time. Hence the ape-like behaviors of youth.
However, as you grew up with in stature and wisdom, you received the Word of Truth from the Bible which says that you are a created being and not an ape.
When you received Christ into your life, you became a child of God now that you are born again. This superior knowledge sets you free from the other obsolete words. It has become unaccepting for anyone to even infer that you are an ape! Why would you accept your doctors negative report? It is not denial, but superimposing God’s Word over man’s.
Because you know in Whom you have believed, you carry yourself as God’s priceless creation and not as an ape or the sick!
Perhaps in times past, you may have functioned with the belief that sicknesses, diseases, etc. are your lot in life, as long as you are a human being. I bring you the Good News today. That is obsolete theology. The works of the Cross is complete. Renew your mind.
Christ already said, ‘it is finished! When He completed the ‘works’ that would restore Humanity to God’s original intent. It is your responsibility to accept that truth and war in the spirit to implement that victory in your life.
The God-part has been done. Do your part. What you believe in your heart, you declare with your mouth.
Spiritual warfare is fought in the mind by humans, in world against demons and in the spirit realms by angelic beings (between both loyal and fallen angels).
People of God, I release to you now, the grace of God that brings healings, salvation, deliverance and prosperity, in Christ matchless name. Sickness is not your portion. You cannot die unfulfilled.
Be well. Be healed. Be made whole. Walk tall. Your sins are forgiven. You are cleansed from all unrighteousness. You are holy unto God. No evil can prosper in you or against you. You are a new creation in Christ Jesus. The life giving Spirit vitalizes your mortal body making it uninhabitable by sicknesses, diseases, infirmities etc.
The resurrection power is at work in you. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made you free from the law of sin and death. You shall not die but live to declare the goodness of God in the land of the living. Go with this consciousness. Refuse to carry a burden that no longer exists-Christ has carried it away and destroyed it. Spread this Good News of salvation, to God’s glory.
Let us Pray:
ABBA Father, thank you for saving me from the evil taskmaster that had taken over my life.
I accept that I sinned against your holiness through gluttony, bingeing, eating food you already declared unfit for human consumption; as well as destroying my body through chemical substances, sleeplessness, insufficient rest, workaholism, and other related evils.
I thank you that in your faithfulness and justice, through the finished works of the Cross, you have forgiven my sins and cleansed me from all unrighteousness. As well as restored me to your original intent and purpose for my life.
Therefore, satan and the forces of evil have no right to afflict me. From henceforth, everything in this world works for my good because I love you my God, and I am the called according to your purpose.
With faith as my shield, and the Sword of the Spirit with the words of my testimony as my weapons of choice, I vehemently refuse to accommodate all diseases in my brain, bladder, eyes, heart, kidney, liver, and lungs.
With the speaking blood of Christ, and my position as the Oracle of God, I pronounce myself, which includes my alimentary canal, (my mouth, oral cavity, teeth, esophagus, pharynx, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and anus): My reproductive system-(female-vagina, uterus, ovaries, cervix, and fallopian tubes): (male-penis, scrotum, testes, epididymis, vas deferens, prostate, and seminal vesicles), free from all sicknesses, diseases, all negatives and illhealth.
All the foul spirits that were influencing, attracting, attacking,reinforcing, and projecting evil against me are to leave at once to the feet of Christ with all their relatives.
For by HIS stripes I …….(Your name) was healed; therefore all diseases that attack the human body-network are outlawed, destroyed, and no longer exists in my body.
By the authority invested upon me as a child of God and Believer in Christ, I command all the organs of my body, which includes my brain, bladder, eyes, lungs, liver, kidneys, heart, fallopian tubes, womb, intestines, bladder, etc. to begin to function perfectly.
Everything that pertains and relates to me must line-up with God’s Word. For I am blood-bought, healed, saved, redeemed, and sealed by the HOLY SPIRIT.
The Truth of God’s Word prevails over my fears of the unknown, the laboratory analysis and doctors prognosis.
I AM the HEALED! My organs hears this WORD and works with it. By the words of my mouth I am saved- I say it again to the four corners of this world and to the four winds also!! I am healed!!!
I agree with what the BIBLE says and disagree with my body symptoms; therefore, symptoms and sicknesses, you are out of my life and body.
I command all forms of cancers to self-destruct now. Kidney stones-Out!!!! Infections in the liver, lungs and anywhere else are to stop at once and self-destruct.
I command healing and wholeness upon all my organ to manifest now, in CHRIST matchless name.
Gracious Father, I am so thankful that the Greater one,whose name is Jesus Christ lives inside of me. From now onwards, I live in Divine health! I can never be sick!!!! Ever again! For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death.
Hallelujah. My finances will no longer be devoured through illhealth, in CHRIST mighty name.

Dear friends, my life is a testimony of God’s love, faithfulness, expanded mercy, unlimited goodness, supernatural favors, great grace and Divine health.

Job was a man acquainted with grief. However, his later end was better than the former. Even though he lost everything, God eventually restored to him twice as much as he had lost.
God who began a good work in you is able to complete it.
God still saves, delivers, restores, prospers, forgives and heals.
Prayer:
I plead the blood of Jesus Christ for forgiveness of sins and restoration to Godly order.
I release to you now, the grace of God that brings Salvation, healing, deliverance and general goodwill.
I come against the evil spirits influencing or reinforcing depression, hopelessness, anxiety and other related evils. Thevevil spirits are to leave your life and atmosphere at once to the feet of Christ.
You are loose to enjoy life more abundantly. Your days of affliction have come to an end. Your season of righteousness, peace and joy in the Kingdom of God starts now.
I call out replacement of the mean and wicked people in your reality with people of worth.
Those who despised you will begin to appreciate you.
The fear and dread of God comes upon your abusers for your sake.
I revoke all rights of satanic agents, to manipulate, control, intimidate and scare you.
Receive strength, a renewed mind and the lion-like boldness of the righteous. (See Proverbs 28:1)
You must come out of trouble. (See Proverbs 12:14)
I release healings to your wounded soul and repressed hurts.
You will experience God’s abundance in every aspect of your life. You will laugh again, and those who hear you laugh, will laugh with you, in Christ matchless name.
